Barcelona Chamber of Commerce establishes systematic relations with businesses, chamber organisations, entities and government agencies to perform its function of encouraging business competitiveness and defending business interests.  

Geographic scope

The Chamber’s geographic scope covers the whole of Barcelona province, except for places that fall under the remit of the chambers of Manresa, Sabadell and Terrassa.

To reach out to the companies it covers, Barcelona Chamber of Commerce has its central and institutional offices in Barcelona and a network of 10 delegations and two service points.

Chambers Network

Barcelona Chamber of Commerce maintains active exchanges with official chambers of commerce throughout Spain and the world and its CoC network is one of the primary avenues of participation and influence, for the benefitof its members.

Our network is used to integrate Catalan, Spanish, Mediterranean, European, Latin American and world chamber organisations

The Barcelona Chamber is a member and the Chair of the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia, an umbrella organisation for 13 official chambers of commerce: Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Manresa, Palamós, Reus, Sabadell, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Tarragona, Tàrrega, Terrassa, Tortosa and Valls.

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce represents the 85 chambers of commerce across Spain, coordinates their actions and fosters their relations. Barcelona Chamber is the Deputy Vice Chair.

This chamber association for the Mediterranean area groups together around 250 chambers of commerce from 23 countries: Albania; Algeria; Bosnia Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Cyprus; Croatia, Egypt; France; Greece; Italy; Jordan; Lebanon; Libya; Macedonia; Malta; Montenegro; Morocco; Serbia; Spain; Syria; Tunisia and Turkey. Barcelona Chamber is an Executive Committee member and holds the post of permanent Secretary-General.

An association of more than 1.700 local and regional chambers of commerce from 43 European countries representing 20 million businesses. Barcelona Chamber is one of the Vice Presidents.

Represents more than 400 chambers of commerce across the Iberian peninsula, North and Central America, the Caribbean, the Southern Cone and the Andean region.

International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the worldwide organization of businesses that since 1919 defends open trade. Among its bodies there is the World Chambers Federation (WCF), which groups together the chambers of commerce from more than 130 countries.
