Objectius
The first objective of this event is to demonstrate the developments in Barcelona and Catalonia on electric mobility and the required (smart) charging infrastructure. As a second objective, it focuses on the definition of near future developments regarding the upscaling of EV numbers, types, the infrastructure and the related challenges and how to deal with them. The mid-long term objective demonstrates the need for integration with local renewable energy for large-scale rollout of electric mobility, needed for the city transition.

These objectives offer new business and innovation opportunities for local and regional stakeholders. Meanwhile existing knowledge and lessons learned in European cities on this growing topic are presented and shared, aiming for fruitful cross-European cooperation.

Objectives by session:
(9:00-10.30 h): This first session focuses on Barcelona and Catalonia and their progress in the development of EV charging infrastructure and EV fleet. How is it organised, which incentives are used, what are the numbers today and the forecast?

(10:30-11:30 h): Presentation of EV ENERGY project and interview with representatives from partner regions (Rome, Kaunas, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Flevoland) on the experience and approaches in their regions and on what we can learn from each other.

(12:00-13:30 h): Parallel sessions
- Peer-to-Peer workshop: Five specific themes (EV&RES integration; Technological challenges; Business models; Societal perspective; Policy and regulation) are debated in groups with the aim to interchange different viewpoints and gain knowledge on the subjects.
- Marketplace: Different businesses present themselves their products/services to the public in a short pitch. Pre-registration necessary for speakers.
Organisers and contact: Clúster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC)

(14:30-15:00 h): EV Energy contest focused on EV/RES/ICT knowledge including a 'winner' and price-award

(15:00-16:00 h): Panel discussion with experts and Q&A by the audience. The input for this session comes for a large part from the Peer-to-Peer workshop in the morning.

(16:00-17:30 h): B2B Event: Business to Business (one-on-one meetings) with prior matchmaking with the aim to foster networking and business relations among enterprises from the energy and mobility sector in the region. Pre-registration necessary.
