Key competences for mobility

The Keymob project is financed by the Erasmus+ programme. The aim the of the project is to develop cooperation between training centers, companies, regional and municipal governments to develop curricular tools and the necessary logistical and organizational agreements for the development of the transversal competences of the apprentices on a context of international mobility.

The project is focused primarily on the key players in the international mobility of the apprentices, and at the regional and municipal institutions and the intermediary bodies that necessarily collaborate in the success of such mobility. On second instance, it is directed at the apprentices, in order to improve the quality of their learning of transversal competences on an international context.

The main expected result of the project is a consensus between regional authorities, training centers and representatives of companies to develop transverse competencies of trainees in a context of transnational mobility in the 3 regions participating in the project: Catalonia, Occitanie,  Baden-Württemberg and in the city of Chomutov. This consensus will consist of an agreement on the instruments needed to develop it.

Keymob project ends on March 31, 2021. The outputs of the project -four reports on different aspects of the transversal skills acquired by participants in international mobility actions- are now available (see below).

Part I -Transversal Competences in mobility situations- summarizes and integrates the main contributions and proposals of the KEYMOB project with the aim of promoting its dissemination throughout Europe.

Part II -Curriculum of Transversal Competences in the context of transnational mobility- provides a conceptual framework for classifying the transversal competences that can be developed in international mobility experiences.

Part III -Guidebook for the development of transversal skills in transnational mobility actions- is a guidebook for teachers of training centers and company tutors on the application of quality criteria for the development of transversal skills of apprentices during their international mobility stay.

Finally, Part IV -Analysis for transnational mobility of apprenticeships (regional and local level)- presents the results of a study that shows how the mobility of Vocational Training students helps to develop both their transversal and technical skills, contributing as well to the improvement of their employability.
